I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love best—I am a culture, music, dance and sports photographer and journalist and I travel the world to shoot talented and inspiring athletes and artist.

I am addicted to the adrenaline rush before a competition when you know you need to focus every second so you don’t miss the crucial picture—the one moment that determines the winner. But I also love to walk through a new city, find my location, pick my angle, set up my lights and work with the athlete in the streets.

To sum it up, shooting movement, freezing the perfect moment in time, that’s what makes me the happiest.

I actually love working with other photographers, especially on a free project, when we just meet and then go someplace and just go crazy, have fun and learn from each other. With many of he Red Bull Photographers that’s a blast.

I also love giving workshops for beginners and intermediates. I love seeing their faces in the moment, the information sinks in and it clicks and they realize with how little knowledge they can improve their pictures by so much. Hip Hop mentality: Each one teach one! Give back!
